I've decided to try and clean up some old projects and start new ones. The 3 legged tuffet has been sitting on top of an corner cabinet for almost 2 years! The large Izzy head belonged to the first one I ever tried to do and I tore her apart, sanded and started rebuilding. The smaller 2 Izzies are waiting just in case I finish the other projects. I continue to have to use almost Herculean strength to push through that old demon called depression. Pray it doesn't take me another year! Blessings!!
I have two Izzy's begun too, the faces are about in the same progressive state as yours appear to be in. I just haven't had the muse to push me to finish them and I know making the entire doll is a lot of work, with the clothing and painting of the face, etc.
ReplyDeleteTa! Ta! for now

Teresa
It's not fair Teresa! But I promise, really promise not to look funny lady!!
DeleteHi there! I found you through Teresa at the wonderful 'A magical Whimsy'. I love, love, love your elegant rabbits. I love their graceful little feet and their serene faces. Such lovely dolls you make! A project left for 2 years? I'm starting one of those.
ReplyDeleteAs for depression, I feel for you, I really do. It's a miserable, life-sucking monster.I hope making the beautiful, creative dolls helps you fight it off.
Oh! Janice
