Keep Christ in Christmas!

Merry Christmas everyone! While I enjoy watching the grands and their cousins tear into brightly colored packages like a doggy shaking a favorite rag toy, I am ever mindful that Christ was born to save the world from it's sin and reconcile us back to fellowship with our beloved Father-God! Last Tweaks To Minnie

Ok, people,  this time I'm really done! I added a decorative gimp braided trim to Minnie's swing coat which gives it a much more finished look. I made 2 different elastic cuffs one for Minne and one for her new owner. I finished up with creating 2 ribbon softie necklaces with a Minnie Mouse head silhouette.

 

The 2 necklaces and the cuffs for the little girl are hidden in a storage area in the seat of the chair. They will be a special surprise!

New Minnie Photos!

I will be handing Minnie over to her buyer tomorrow. Today I am clipping stray threads, removing lint and working on 2 Minnie Mouse Head ribbon necklaces, one for Minnie and one for the recipient. I think she will be very happy on Christmas Day!

Minnie's Flannel PJs!

Okay, so the Minnie Mouse themed pjs are finished. I'm trying out some bows and things for the ears. Still have to do two pair of shoes, 2 pair of removable gloves, a fancy dress and a hat or two. I have given myself seven days to complete everything starting today. I hope everyone is doing well and shopping like crazy!

Swinging In Red

Minnie's fur trimmed swing coat is almost finished. I need to decide on what closures I will use, buttons, velcro, snaps, ribbons or a  combination?

Minne's Wardrobe Is Evolving

Minnie has a lacy camisole set now! Note the black detail on gloves just like a real Minnie! Next up a PJ set with Minne themed fabric.

Have A Minnie Mouse Happy Thanksgiving!

Minnie's bodysuit was finished yesterday including her socks. Everything at this point is permanently attached. I shall do her permanent white gloves today. The day after Thanksgiving I will start her removable wardrobe. I may make her a blanket if I have enough Minnie Mouse themed fabric on hand. Be thankful to God in all you do and stay safe. Dollie News

This has been Minnie's journey so far. She will be 19 inches long when complete.She will have a wardrobe of 3-5 outfits including pjs, mittens and hats.  She just loves to sit and watch the Christmas tree rotate!
